Is it possible query details data of installed Android apps, like name and version, from Sailfish OS to Dalvik VM? Yandex Store makes this, but it is an Android app. I need know if this is possible directly from Sailfish OS.

With some effort you can run most android-ish commands from sfos towards alien dalvik. (Chroot'ed dalvik poses a slight challenge). I guess the "pm" command might do what you want. See here for hints on running commands from outside alien dalvik. https://together.jolla.com/question/79440/android-app-cover-actions/ (outdated as an exact guide since dalvik was chroot'ed) Sorry for short answer since i'm on my phone atm. This is probably not kosher enough for the store.... I'll try to answer any follow-ups as best i can.

I think there is probably a way to read directly those information from the .apk file itself.
