I have read posts about this trouble, but nothing works. I turn off my phone and after that I cannot turn up it. The screen only shows the Jolla logo then change to black screen. I've tried Jolla Recovery tool. I'm using Mac and I installed the HoRNDIS driver. After that I try to connect to my phone via telnet but 10.42.66.66 and 192.168.2.15 don't work.

Message error is:

Trying 10.42.66.66...

-telnet: connect to address 10.42.66.66: Operation timed out

-telnet: Unable to connect to remote host

Any suggestion?

Thank you very much.

@Noe - Hi,

Take out the battery, hold the volume button down and keep it held down. Insert battery, wait until you see the Jolla logo and the device vibrates once, then let go of the volume down button. Your phone should now be in recovery mode - now you should be able to TELNET successfully.

Make sure your battery also has reasonable charge..

If you haven't already looked at Jolla's Zendesk help page regarding recovery, here's the link; https://jolla.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204709607-Jolla-Phone-How-do-I-use-the-Recovery-Mode-

Okay, what are you using to TELNET to the device?, putty or telnet itself ?
