Jolla is about survival [not a question]

"Jolla, the company name, means dinghy (a small agile boat) in Finnish. It can also be recognized as an ironic joke about the "burning platform memo" which contained suggestion "jump into the cold sea water" or "burn with platform" considering Nokia business. It has "accidentally leaked" from former Nokia CEO Stephen Elop in February 2011" - Wikipedia

Could perhaps Jolla be better/stronger in this image?

I think so. I think Jolla could be more clear, and communicate a survival ethos much stronger. Right now the hardware part of Jolla is not presented like a safe dinghy. I hope Jolla can change this in words and action. To do this I think Jolla should cash in on done work and commit to the hardware side more. Or at least communicate such intention better.

The Jolla phone is fantastic. The design is beautiful, size is IMO just right, the other half system got lots of potential. It should be clear this phone venture will move on and be upgraded. A new model should not change very much, but make it stronger and the most reliable (dust/water proof?), and else build on the other half ecosystem (Where is that Olympus m43 other half camera?).

As for the tablet project it should be a way to start selling soon. When?

It is good if Sailfish gets licenced to others and such, but please, Jolla is more than the software.

Dust/water proof? I would be happy if it did not reboot in my pocket three times a day!

@pichlo. Just put piece of folded paper under the battery + other tricks from here: https://together.jolla.com/question/7144/jolla-randomly-shuts-down/?sort=votes&page=1

I completely agree with your position. Jolla, it is more than an operating system!! And I am afraid that with the project Intex, it is only a kind of headlong rush for Jolla, especially if the smartphone Intex to come be to be down-market with specs lower than those whom we have with current Jolla.

Jolla is indeed more than a mobile phone and more than a OS. The phone is great and Sailfish must go for more than only one type of phone. Hope that we will meet sailfish also on other devices soon.

As a matter of fact, there is no answer to OP's post as it is not a question. Closing as such. You can still comment.
