I find it somewhat confusing that the user is not able to swipe back to lower stages of an app.

For example, if you're in "Settings" and hit one of the entries, you can swipe back to the upper stage. But I would appreciate it if I could also simply swipe back to the stage I just left.

I wish this is coming with one of the future updates.

This needs UX review. Your example in the Settings application is ok, but consider the Email application where swipe right->left is normally options/folders/etc., it may be confusing if the paradigm changes across applications. Or maybe one can get used to it very easily.

This is something that I find confusing too. Swiping right in the store installs an app without confirmation.

However, there's sometimes a mix between button pressing, pulley menu and swipe to the right. That's not always entirely clear especially for new users.
