Since the update my mailbox.org IMAP account refuses to 'push' my mails - it works fine with a 5-mins setting but idle won't work anymore. Same happened to my other account at strato.de but that was solved by deleting the account and then create it again - this didn't work for the mailbox.org - after deleting the 'Always up-to-date' option isn't even available during the setup any more ... IMAP idle works for that account on my Blackberry and on the iPad and on the severe side they didn't change anything so I resume it must have been something in the 2.0.1.7 update causing that problem.

Btw. when I choose activeSync instead of IMAP the push works (of course) but I still can't download attachments (only with the workaround to forward the mail) this is persistent since spring 2015 (can't say which update broke it ...)

Same problem here since 2.0.1.7 and a private mail server running dovecot, I noticed that push stopped working since the update, so I recreated the account, now push/always current isn't even offered in the IMAP settings. EDIT: I just rebooted, and now the "immer aktuell//always current" option is there again for this account.

I've noticed the same problem with Gmail account. However, after a reboot it started working again. I have it set to "Always up-to-date" for Peak interval, and Manual for Off-peak. My guess is that it switched to Off-peak and never switched back to Peak. I haven't had time to play with it, so I can't provide more information. It's too bad, I've waited for this feature for a damn long time (I have my Jolla since December 2013). I hope this will be fixed before the public release.

I tried to delete the account and setup the map account again, to hope it may fix it. It keeps cycling the 'creating account' waiting ring but doesn't continue anymore.

The simplest fix I found for this is to change the setting from "Always up-to-date" to something else and back. However, it's a temporary solution and the problem reappears after the next Off-peak -> Peak switch.
