Exchange calendar entries multiplied

Since updating to Taalojärvi, Exchange ActiveSync has been complaining "Problem with sync" in the cover of the mail app after updating. The problem seems to be with the calendar, because each update multiplies some appointments in the phone's Exchange calendar. They are not multiplied on the server. The multiplying appointments are all new, i.e. added after updating to Taalojärvi.

Thanks for the report. I've created a bug internally to track this issue.

Can you give some information:

What version is running on the Exchange server (and do you know which Protocol Version they use?)

If you have developer mode enabled, can you do the following:

devel-su -p pkcon search name eas and also devel-su -p pkcon search activesync and send the resulting output to chris dot adams at jolla dot com?

Also, if you can get any logs / journal entries (e.g., devel-su journalctl -ab) and send them to me (after redacting any sensitive information like IP addresses etc) then we can investigate further.

Just to confirm, this is on Jolla Phone not on Tablet or Nexus / other port?

@chris: Nice to see you're still sailing! So it seems we still do not have the updated Exchange stack on the phone in the next update, or?

@zappAtom Yep, back on board and helping to row ;-) We do not have the updated exchange stack on the phone for the next update, no. I don't know when that is happening at this stage, given our greatly reduced QA resources at the moment...
