Hey guys, i just have trouble to get mobile internet with an inofficial sailfish port. Because i guess its a problem with a germany specific provider, i wrote my complete question in german :)

Are you having problem setting up the accesspoint for the 2-4G?

I am not sure if Drillisch does it any different but maybe you could take a look here and see if this helps: https://together.jolla.com/question/93334/faulty-roaming-on-german-o2-de-and-o2-de-network/?answer=95752#post-id-95752

Hope it helps although it might not.

Good luck!

Hi, thanks for you answer :) Jolla / Settings / System / Mobile Network / Mobile Data => longtap on the connection name => edit Sadly i have there nothing, nothing on long tapping and if im tab on the name regulary, its just open theprovider search :/

Technics ( 2016-01-27 10:02:21 +0300 )edit

If regulary tap opens provider search, it could be you tap the wrong row. You should long tap the third row on screen. In my case (O2) the connection name is LOOP. Regulary tap on this should activate or deactivate mobile data connection, long tap opens an edit button (Bearbeiten).

Oh my God! Thanks!

Im such an idiot! I never heard about that "LOOP" and had fear that this is something i have to pay for or whatever. For safety i just disabled this. Now its working perfectly, yeah! :D

One bar is not strong enougth for a stable mobile inet under 3G condition, try a other location with stronger signal

evo3de ( 2016-01-27 12:31:16 +0300 )edit

of course i tryed other locations, and the most time the bar was much stronger. Thats just an ironic moment while taking the photo.

Its no timeout, no trying, it says it as far as in fly mode!

Here on 2 phones with Drillisch/O2 all is fine!

AP as described above and all is running flawlessly here!

You can also try as AP only: internet

Works also......

Other AP's are only necessary for international roaming
