Estonian mobile ID is a way to legally identify an Estonian citizen using the mobile device. Full explanation about mobile ID is here: http://id.ee/index.php?id=36903 I have difficulties using mobile ID on my Jolla phone, sometimes I have to swipe the mobile id dialogue to standby and from standby open the dialogue again to enter PIN 1. Sometimes I have to close the dialogue from top edge to start a new dialogue that askes me then PIN 1. It should work smoothly without tricks actually. Does anybody know where is the problem and can anybody fix the problem? My mobile operator Elisa said they are not responsible in that matter. I can confirm it.I have another service provider and have exactly the same issue!It has to be a problem in the Sim SDK toolkit.

In the version 2.0.2.48 mobile ID (Estonian) stopped working completely.

Is the application open source? Are the encryption algorithms open? If it uses a network connection, is the API open and documented?

If these things are done right, a native implementation could be done. If not, I would not bother using such crap.

I can confirm the same problem here in Finland using Dna mobiilivarmenne on 2.0.5.6 Haapajoki on Jolla 1.

The registration and creating PIN 1 and PIN 2 seems to succeed (at some point I needed to send the request twice) but using the mobile ID does not succeed. System requesting identification claims that I have submitted wrong PIN 1.

Has anyone succeeded in using Mobile ID with Jolla?

Update: It works with 2.0.5.6 Haapajoki on Jolla 1! I incorrectly mixed PIN 1 and häirinnän estokoodi (anti jamming code or whatever this is in English). When I submit the correct code, I can use Jolla 1 to authenticate using Finnish Mobile ID.

As far as I remember mobile ID worked correctly in the version 1.0.6 (and maybe couple of next versions also). After that it works with problems. Most of the times when I want to insert PIN at first the screen will be blank, then I close the mobile ID app, the app opens again and on second time it usually lets to insert the code.

Finnish Elisa Mobiilivarmenne works fine for me in Jolla 1 and 2.0.5.6 Haapajoki.
