Notice: Advised by @chemist to create a specific thread, here it is. I know the Nexus 5 is not officially supported, but I don't think this has something related to a specific hardware. And I'll check with my Jolla too.

Bug: Calendar doesn't sync anymore with Google. Tested by creating an event on Google and one on the phone and then sync. Both events are not reported (respectively on the phone and on the Google server).

If deleting google account and adding it again is not enough, you can try the procedure described in https://together.jolla.com/question/79565/clean-up-calendars/

Thanks @Jonas, the procedure works for me. You should tag your comment as Answer. I can't do it.

same here. Calendars created in google calendar will not sync to Jolla calendar, calendars created on Jolla calendar will appear on Google Calendar

See https://git.merproject.org/mer-core/buteo-sync-plugins-social/commit/dd021f1a0c9a53618bfff0b530eaeca3263b0642 which should get into 2.0.2.x

I had the same issue. By deleting the google account and add it again it started to work. Even better(faster) than before.

Update You are right, only worked one time for me too (or at least it does not work anymore). Is there someone whit a solution for this? Does someone know what might be the problem? For me this is quite a big issue. The calendar for me is the second most important thing in a phone.

Indeed, it works only one time, when you add the account back. And then, stops working again.
