Notice: Advised by @chemist to create a specific thread, here it is. I know the Nexus 5 is not officially supported, but I don't think this has something related to a specific hardware. And I'll check with my Jolla too.
Bug: Calendar doesn't sync anymore with Google. Tested by creating an event on Google and one on the phone and then sync. Both events are not reported (respectively on the phone and on the Google server).

I had the same issue. By deleting the google account and add it again it started to work. Even better(faster) than before.
Update You are right, only worked one time for me too (or at least it does not work anymore). Is there someone whit a solution for this? Does someone know what might be the problem? For me this is quite a big issue. The calendar for me is the second most important thing in a phone.
