Searched this site but could not find similarly listed problems.

I have tried several android calendar apps. None of them seem to be able to create a calendar. Some ignore it when you try to create one (i.e do nothing) and some crash.

I am not sure if this can be listed as a bug maybe this is not possible by design? ;)

Background is that I want to use an android app to sync google and owncloud calendars until the native calendar is capable of synching with owncloud. I notice this is a highly coveted feature by many :)

Mobisynapse is able to create an Android calendar and synch Outlook with it (PC part, required for synching, = $; but, as far as I remember, trial period is free of charge) with it. However, synching with address book fails.

Is there any solution I haven't found yet? As long as I cant create different calendars with the native calendar app and as long Jolla doesnt show a usefull week- and month-view in the calendar app I have to use an android calendar. So, the android calendars dont interact with the sailfish-calendars and vice versa. So the question still remains: how to create syncable online/cloud-calendar-accounts within the android-alien-system?
