Sailfish update notification stuck on 2.0.0.10 and 'Waiting for connection' [answered]
Hello folks,
I tried to update to Sailfish 2.0.0.10 via GUI two months ago but the update failed permanently. Even tried to reset my Jolla.
I lost all my contacts, even having made a backup and restoring everything from it. Restored some from Google but not all. How's that possible when I synchronize my contacts with Google? But that's two other issues.
The reset didn't work. The update was still failing.
So I was forced to update via command line.
OK, the update worked but it destroyed the GUI update tool:
- The update notification is pending, advertizing 2.0.0.10 which I have installed already.
- When I go to Settings/Sailfish OS Updates, it says that the system is up to date (2.0.0.10) but it's still possible to check for updates. If I try that, I see only a “Waiting for connection” message and nothing changes for several minutes. In the end, it states that the system is up to date with 2.0.0.10 but the update notification doesn't go away.
Searched thoroughly but none of the recommendations worked for me.
How do I repair this issue? Is this a known bug?
BTW., how do I tell which Sailfish version is the newest?

The same here: Sailfish update notification stuck on 2.0.5.6 with 'Waiting for connection' after select "check for Updates" from Pulley. I've done the update with "version --dup", everythings fine exept this issue. Is there any way to reset this? Maybe resart the Jolla store e.g.? Thanks for helping.
