Just an idea: would Jolla introduce a built-in impregnable system-wide encryption with no backdoor, they would get a huge worldwide advertising campaign. For free.

is this not a duplicate of this? https://together.jolla.com/question/2158/optional-encryption-of-the-device/

Additionally, isnt the current court case around the iphone a clear example that you need to have tightly integrated OS and hardware to have RealSecurityTM, which is something Jolla no longer does?

Maybe the fruits of Jolla+SSH joint project will give us something sweet in the future (assuming it will be available for normal customers and not only for police, goverments etc.)

IMHO this is not a duplicate, as the idea is mainly to gain a free advertising campaign.

IMHO you can add this remark to the linked feature request.
