Hello sailors,

could someone informs what type of version was on the intex phone at mwc? That was a 2.0.2.x . maybe 38 i don't know any more, but is not important for me.

The info that interest me is, if it was a released version? or a kind of early access ? or a demo one?

thanks a lot in advance. And have a nice day..

It was just like the tablet on MWC15 a demo built. There is only one last released SFOS version to rule them all (yes for all devices, tablet introduces new stuff not possible with an OTA update atm, like fresh android and other emmc partitioning; the system is basically built for another architecture, that's all), hardware adaptation and custom s/w add-ons (intex&mi) are the only differences. For the demoed device, it is only natural that it has a higher version than current stable release or even EA-RC, don't wet your pants over it.

Last but not least, this question was asked before with or within another question!

great! @chemist you save me from sinking!!...
that's clear to me. i think i could make the same conclusion, with the info that i have collected.
Sorry to be so ironic, but seems to me that you didn't understand what i have expected but that's ok.
that was answer for having clear and simple response...
I think it should not be a difficult one for jolla, with no time investment
A test in communication crisis, if you want (or not).
Seems that you made already your pants wet with my question... lol
Wish you have good continuation ;-)

Was not explicit asked in...with or within an other question...

I guess you need to rephrase your question then, it was stated (by Jolla) on several occasions that all SFOS devices will run on the same release version apart of minor changes for things that just do not work yet (new android for Jolla1, etc) - the direct answer to your question is probably "Demo-WIP-Intex-MWC16-Edition", just like the tablet had a tailored demo of sfos for MWC (afaik it was the current state of development quick&dirty MWC fixed to show the device with an actual running system)

@chemist according your info then the answer is "demo (TBC)". why should i rephrase it?

And that was what I said in my answer in the first line already?!

No, 2.0.2.390 Aurajoki has not been released and might be a special version for Aqua Fish. (dualsim?). more speculation/info also here: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=96469

@mosen it confirms that is a (kind of) demo software, in a version-branch, which will be merged in main one later. correct?

probably it just is a version from the development branch. Last year's MWC tablets had a similar version scheme (x.y.z.k with k > 100).

If that will become 2.0.2 or 2.0.3 I don't know, I expect the latter.

@g7 i expect much greater, because of merge process of branch... then 2.0.4 or greater...
speculation...
We could propose to bwin that they make a bet entry in their system. :-))))
