The Jolla Tablet supports USB OTG, and some people have been trying to use USB HCI devices such as keyboards and mice through a USB OTG adapter. It's reported that some keyboards work, but there's no mouse pointer support in Sailfish. Could this be brought in from elsewhere? Where would it go?

There are no mouse pointer support in sailfishos. You can make clicks working if add evdevmouse to lipstick environment options. Keyboard works fine. USB Flash drive works fine with manual mounting or using 3rd party tools to mount drives automatically.

Thanks for the thorough answer. Do you know why there's no mouse pointer? Wouldn't it have been there already in the underlying tools, like in Android?

Was it removed, or never there in the first place?

Are you using tablet or phone? OTG is only supported on tablet.

Sorry, meant on OTG devices, such as the tablet. Edited the question to be clearer.

Last time when I tested USB OTG keyboard on tabled it worked just fine. So maybe bad adapter or there has been changes in the firmware (I haven't tested keyboard for months though).

IIRC I have working keyboard on 2.0.1 - had to (re-)plug it in thrice though.
