For me this is really annoying when using phone in office/public place. Please stop playing those when entering a phone number while not beeing connected or provide at least an option to disable. Feedback is already provided with vibrator.

Silencing the phone will turn off the DTMF feedback sounds. (e.g. from lock screen pulley menu)

I'd expect it to also silence on disabling "Touch screen tones" (or one of the other buttons in the settings dialogue). I'll ask a person involved with this part of Sailfish to have a look if this is a (separate) bug.

Disabling the touch screen tones was one of the first things I did on the device, so no, it won't silence the DTMF feedback. Thanks for looking into this.

I don't like the DTMF feedback sounds at all. So I wish an option to turn off this behavior, indipendently by the silencing status of the whole phone.

I have to join this question. I also want to disable the DTMF sounds. Not everybody needs to hear, that I want to call someone, when entering a number.
