I miss the option to forward an SMS. As the saying goes: "I could do that on the N9" ;)
Update: Giving it a bump to elicit official response / ETA. Copy / paste is not a solution btw as pointed out below.

Copy and paste does not work when reporting SPAM SMS to MOST ISP/Telcos', as the header information is not copied across. This is a big drawback for using this phone in most countries.

Copy and pasting does not work at all for any SMS. As suggested by others, it would be helpful if we had the feature

I would also support this as when you receive a malicious sms then forwarding the same to the local enforcement agencies is required. Copy pasting makes the SMS loose its header info. I think this functionality is available in all platforms. Hope this can be done with ease

You can work around it by using the Copy option and pasting the message content into a new SMS. It takes three more actions than the automatic Forward - function though.
On O2 UK you can forward spam texts to the number 7726. This is now being expanded by Ofcom to all uk networks to get information on how many insurance companies are sending spam texts and how often and of course to get it stopped.
It's a good thing and it would help if Jolla had an SMS forwarding feature.

Copy-paste of MMS messages isn't possible (only if you save the pictures/media and write a new message). Forwarding messages is definitely a basic feature.
(The question is about SMS, but since the same feature (or lack thereof) in the messages app also concerns MMS I think it's better to post here instead of creating a new question.)
On the bright side is that the code (except the QML) is open sourced as I understand it, so the task is there for anyone willing to take it! :)

I read a very negaitve review of Jolla on snapdeal.com (Indian sales tie-up site) where this was pointed out as a basic feature missing. Felt sad reading the review as this part is quite true. I know it's not a real deal breaking feature but thought will bring this to attention. Potential Indian buyers rely on such review and Jolla should respond on such sites and try to create right impression by responding (say, it's on roadmap, etc). I don't agree to most of the other feedback given there.
