[Bug] Email App Shows same Emails in Different Email Accounts

I have 2 different email accounts from the same email service provider (@vivaldi.net). Today, I noticed that both these email accounts are displaying the same emails (that is, emails of accountA@vivaldi.net is also being displayed in the inbox of accountB@vivaldi.net in the email app ). The email cover, meanwhile, displays 'Problem with Sync' error (which it has been doing for the past 2 days) probably for the email account whose email has disappeared.

All my email accounts have been created through 'Accounts'. As one of these email accounts has a LOT of emails, I do not wish to delete and add it again (only as a last resort).

I have no idea how to recreate this bug. Could the email database, used by the app, have got corrupted?

Temporary Fix:
Delete one of the email accounts and add it again through Settings > Accounts
I decided to deleted the email account with the least emails and added it again. Now both email accounts show their own emails in the email app.
