Clicking links open up random Android app

When I try to open a link in any app, it opens up an Android app instead of the browser. Default app is set to native browser. Also removing the Android app it opens results in it opening another Android app instead. Problem started occurring on tuesday morning (something to do with btrfs balancer? Just a guess).

I have the same issue. Resetting android handler for HTTP in aliendalvik control don't do anything. I had temporaly removed all android apps and the android-support for SailfishOs, but this is no solution.

For me resetting android handler for HTTP in Aliendalvik Control under Settings fixed the issue.

appearently not completely fixed. Sailfish links work fine now, but aliendalvik internal links seems to be broken > openening android internal links from within an android app for example only opens the last installed android app like the op described.

try for example in Whatsapp -> Settings > About and help > FAQ

I also checked with adb:

adb shell am start -a android.intent.action.VIEW -d http://www.google.de

opens the last installed android app instead of the default browser. So resetting "android handler for HTTP" in Aliendalvik Control actually doesn't seem to work.

@coderus, could you eventually help? How can we fix this?

i have never experienced this issue, so i can only guess.

Do you have any ideas what could be wrong, or how to fix aliendalvik's default url handler?

I have exactly the same issue, clicking on links in sailfish apps starts the sailfish browser, but clicking in an android app (whatsapp for example) opens an android app (not a browser), regardless of which app I set as handler for links
