Very strange bugs [answered]

Hello,

I don't know if these bugs are known or not, but here's my story and list. The phone started acting a little bit weird the last month, for example I could not take any pictures with it - the camera focuses but pressing the button does not have any effect. So camera is not functional.

Then recently more strange bugs have appeared: - if I restart the phone, it will automatically send out text messages to 1-2 ..n last recipients. Last two contacts who I have sent SMS have now received the same messages at least 3 times during the couple of days. This is a bit worrying thing, and I don't know for how many contacts it actually sends them again... - Just now I noticed the phone does not record any outgoing calls - gPodder stopped working week ago - if I press the play button, nothing happens (now I tried to open Gallery to see if any videos play, but Gallery app crashes) - Somestimes when I swipe down to change the theme, it only shows switch off option (not sure how to reproduce) - Email client is not always updating the inbox. I have two accounts, one is almost working (only some emails missing between), another one updated 2 days ago. It does not give any errors.

Software version is 2.0.0.10.

I think I have to reset the device before it is completely bricked or is there any remedy for this kind of behavior?

Yeah, again... Jolla! You need at least to release an empty update just to run the btrfs-balancer on all the Jolla phones! As the last update was almost 6 months ago, more and more case like this will appear, and not everybody is willing to open the terminal :/

At the moment there is even an other alternative solution, without using the developer mode and the terminal: If you are not signed for Early access to Sailfish OS releases yet, you can opt in for the early access now on account.jolla.com, wait for the update notification of 2.0.1.7, run the update preparation in the settings (at this point btrfs will be cleaned) and just don't install the update and opt out again if favored. :)
