Hello, I'm from Spain. My Phone Company is Movistar. I'm surprised that I can't hide/show my caller ID. In Settings --» Applications --» Telephone, it is this options but it is disabled. Neither I can't change call forwarding. Can anybody help me?

I hope I explained.

Thank you.

@mfdezbujalance: USSD is the name for the family of *whatever# codes that you type on your phone to control your operator's status and settings (e.g. remaining amount of money). All operators I know about provide you with a list of such codes to do certain things, and one of these codes is for changing the state of caller ID.

As far as I know, the Settings -> Applications -> Telephone menu is just a GUI for sending these USSDs.

*31# or #31# don't work

I use Settings ->Aplications -> Telephone Menu but nothings work. There are several options but nothing work.

However, if put my SIM card on the other mobile I can change this option. In the Jolla Mobile don't work. I suppose that the problem is the comunication between Jolla (Sailfish) and Movistar (with USSD).

If I want hide my caller ID l dial #31# + telephone number. This is work but It isn't automatic. I want disabled /enabled this option.

Sorry for my English. I hope I explained.

Hei,

Go to Phone app, enter the code (*31# or #31#) as it was a phone number and hit call. It should display the new status.
