I want to ask what existing tablet owners do? Do you use the same jolla account as on the phone or create a new one for the tablet? What are the advantages or drawbacks?

I have used the same account as for my phone. Don't know of any advantages or disadvantages of either approach. But have not recognised any problems with my approach either.

I don't own a tablet but I don't see any advantages to have two separate accounts apart from eventually preventing Jolla to notice the two devices are owned by the same person (and yet the two devices will probably have a very very similar known Wi-Fi network list which could be a good hint already). For the drawbacks, well, you have to deal with two accounts...

I'm using the same account on my Jolla tablet and on my phone (Fairphone 2). I had the same account on my Jolla phone before as well, and see no disadvantages with that.

Yes it works for me too. One advantage is that you can have the same username (which in my case is my email address). If you log into your account at jolla.com, the two are listed there under your "devices". The tablet is shown as a "JT-1501" whereas the phone is called "Jolla".
