The current active ports are listed at

https://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/Adaptations/libhybris

You may try to port it yourself. A good starting point is fully working Cyanogenmod 11 or later (10 can work too, but there might be some issues). If there is CM for your device, there is a hope that its possible.

Yes we have support for cm11 I have gone through the links but there is no active development going on this device

Re CM11: Sounds good then!

I don't know which problems you could have with Samsung port, but I'd suggest to ask through IRC freenode #sailfishos-porters about the status, whether there is any major problem with this port, and whether anyone is working on it.

Also be ready to make the port yourself, i.e have time for this. Porting instructions are available at https://sailfishos.org/develop/hadk/ . IRC channel has several porters who are very helpful and would guide you through the problems.

i am not developer or programmer so i am unable to understand these procedures for port i want to try sailfish os as i read some where that it performs very well compare to android. even if you flash GB(2.3.X) the phone lags for basic functions like whats app and facebook so there is no point to flash 5.1 and above android version on this phone. so requesting here if any body here can port for us.

I have tried to port to the P1000 which is ver similar in hardware to the I9000 but got nowhere. I suspect it was because you need to have at least a stable CM 10-12 release for the device. So far, both devices only got nightlies that aren't working very well(severe radio quirks and instabilities). The latest stable version appears to be CM9 which is not supported by the hadk.
