Hi,
I created the sdcard
symlink pointing to my SD card and changed the PICTURES dir to point to it with :
$ xdg-user-dirs-update --set PICTURES ~/sdcard/nemo/Pictures
$ xdg-user-dir PICTURES
/home/nemo/sdcard/nemo/Pictures
and took a picture and it works :
$ ls -lh
/home/nemo/sdcard/nemo/Pictures/Camera/
total 416K
-rwxr-xr-x 1 nemo nemo 411K 2016-05-05 18:12 20160505_001.jpg
After reboot, here is what I get :
$ xdg-user-dir PICTURES
/home/nemo/Pictures
So I decided to set the XDG_PICTURES_DIR
variable in ~/.config/user-dirs.conf
:
XDG_PICTURES_DIR="$HOME/sdcard/$USER/Pictures"
But after another reboot, I still get :
$ xdg-user-dir PICTURES
/home/nemo/Pictures
Can you help me ?
Shouldnt it be ~/.config/user-dirs.dirs
