Just installed Taalojärvi, in the Finnish mail that notified me the upgrade is availlable, it states under android support: memory card support added to Android applications. ( i don't see the same statement in the English version) Unfortunatlely Here Maps still does not offer the sdcard support. Even worse, i cannot find Here maps for Jolla (android) from Aptoide enither Yandex anymore. I dont dare to uninstall it since i may not get it back.....

There is the same statement in the English version, but it's a lie, what has been delivered is just a fix for a regression introduced in 1.1.9.28 where the SD card was mounted too late, leading to Android apps not seeing it. More info here: https://together.jolla.com/question/107380/bug-11928-sailfishos-20-mounts-sd-card-too-late-for-android-support/

So the "SD card support added for Android apps" actually means that Android applications can read the SD card again at /media/sdcard/$UUID without having to restart the Android Support after booting. But it's still read-only.

PS: somebody had already reported that here after the early access release: https://together.jolla.com/question/127217/2017-android-sd-card-support/

I think what's ment is that android is able to access files on the sd-card, not access it as sd-card but as part of the root file system
