How to duplicate an Ambience?

I would like to have a copy of one of the default ambiences with the same background image, a different name, and different ringtone settings. Is there a way to do it?
What I have tried: the backgrounds of the factory ambience do not appear in the gallery, so I cannot create a new ambience from there. There seems to be no "copy" or "duplicate" menu entry in the ambience UI inside settings.
