Hello, I can help with RO translation. There's no coordinator so far, I may try endorsing the role although limited availability.

This has gathered a lot of votes, @rtr2001 would you still be able to coordinate (or anyone else do come forth :)

Thanks for the translation style guide. I started again with the translation work after a longer break. It seems that last year i could accept suggestions for the project i started work on (jolla-clock) but now i can't anymore. How is the process supposed to work? is it only the coordinator that can accept suggestions and perform reviews?

I think this should be 2 entries, 1 for Lower and 1 for Upper Sorbian, as they seem to be 2 separate literary languages

I have updated the files to the 2.0.1.7 version and completed the translation, and due the lack of feedback from the maintainer in timely manner I have pushed the stuff to the github: https://github.com/martonmiklos/unofficial-jolla-translation

Since than I have got "coordinator" rights on transifex, so I will be able to merge my work back, just need to figure out how.

Sounds excellent, that's definitely a great point to start from!

We should put some effort into convincing Jolla to create Hungarian language track on their new translation environment, and move the stuff there (and not to transifex).

Okay. I would like to be nominated to the coordinator role of the Hungarian translation.I have worked on the unofficial translation before, and I think it would be useful to finally make it official.

At the moment, there is only one Portuguese language option with Sailfish OS. The current Portuguese translation seems to be Portuguese from Portugal. But it should have two options: Portuguese from Portugal(pt-pt) and Portuguese from Brazil(pt-br). So, I suggest to open a new project of translation Sailfish OS to Portuguese from Brazil.

@sledges, @ApB, thanks... But adding my Hebrew keyboard probably is not relevant until someone can help me to fix the bug that started from 2.0.1.7 update (maybe one before): https://together.jolla.com/question/129140/question-right-to-left-vkb-have-problem-after-last-system-update-2017/

Since you are willing to have they keyboard included contact Pekka and also tell him about the bug. He can probably help you more than anyone else.

bg is in the EU and there are 2 differentkeyboards already available in warehouse. also it has some upvotes here

@sledges hey, i know. i just mentioned the keyboards to show there is already community support for this language.

sure, but what I'm saying is that if you go that little extra step and email those files to Pekka, bg keyboard can be included in as soon as the sfos upgrade after next ;)

I did not find Bulgarian keyboard in the phone 2.0.4.14. I installed the one from openrepo and it works just fine

Nice! That link says "Forbidden Access", but I wonder what export options transifex offers. We are using Pootle tool, and I could import .ts files of this format: https://webtranslateit.com/en/docs/file_formats/qt_linguist_ts

Yes, please please reuse the available translations! Can't believe this is actually going to happen. Had to look it up, but I 'asked' for this Dec 24 2013: More languages available (Dutch)

I haven't updated the mentioned translation for a couple of months now, but the sources should be up to date.

We need to export those strings from transifex as .ts, then I'll see if those can be converted/imported into pootle at ease or with some processing.

Pootle stores "po/" directory with the following format: "po/app_name/lang_ID/*" , e.g. po/sailfish-browser/en_GB/{sailfish-browser.ts,settings-sailfish-browser.ts}

As a native Turkish speaker and Sailor, I would be happy to coordinate incoming Turkish translations =)

Hi, I'm native Turkish speaker and a Sailfish user/fan. I've been involved in many localization work, including KDE, various other applications (last one: Zabbix) and games (last one: Remnants of Naezith). I'd be happy to be a coordinator for Turkish language.

I've started to translate Jolla phone user guide into Turkish in 2013, but I couldn't finish it. Now I'm actively using Sailfish and I can spare some time to localization work of Sailfish itself :)
