Hi,
What is the command line to list installed patches on SailFish OS ?
@Markkyboy : I've found this :
$ ls /usr/share/patchmanager/patches/
sailfishos-ambience-powermenu2 sailfishos-more-snoozes sailfishos-patch-powermenu-with-quicksettings sailfishos-speaker-volumeup
Sorry @SebM for a very late reply - Yes!, a much more obvious and simple way to list ALL patches!
Answer changed to comment, seeing as you have answered your own question! :)

pkcon --filter installed search name sailfishos-patch
(see
pkcon --help
for more info)(where
sailfishos-patch
is what you're looking for, if not replace item terms until you get the desired result).Many of the packages that make up Sailfishos are 'meego' packages, we can search based on apps installed from 3rd party repos (i.e. openrepos) by adding
meego
to the search, it will exclude all meego packages from results, making the list easier and shorter to read quickly;rpm -qa --qf '%{NAME} %{VENDOR}\n' | grep -v meego
if you still cannot find your rogue 'patch/app' then try;
Spam Hunter ( 2016-05-20 22:23:44 +0200 )editrpm -qa
- (this will spew out everything installed (rpm) on your device).@Markkyboy The pb. is that some patch do not include the string "patch" in their package name like :
SebM ( 2016-05-20 23:21:52 +0200 )editsailfishos-speaker-volumeup
True, albeit only 4 or 5 packages, maybe a few more, where the authors haven't followed with the general naming convention. In which case a manual search for the file, otherwise I don't know.
So the string
Spam Hunter ( 2016-05-20 23:50:34 +0200 )editsailfishos
is present. Knock off the term 'patch' from my original answer and enter.
