For me neither the alarms of the Clock nor those of the Calendar work. I'm on SFOS version 2.0.1.11. The icon for alarms is shown on the homescreen (the small bell next to the battery status) but no alarm is ringing. I tried countdowns, alarms, repeating alarms, calendar events with reminder, and alarms with switched-off device. For the switched-off device the phone woke up a minute before the set time but the alarm never rang and the phone went down again. It's not only that there is no sound, the reject/snooze screen doesn't show either. After the set time the alarm just gets deactivated in the clock app but nothing else happens. For weekly alarms the alarm doesn't get deactivated. Reinstalling the clock app didn't help. Any idea on this?

Have you checked the sound settings in your Ambiences?

How do the soundsettings affect the alarm overlay/the reject/snooze screen??? And yes, of course I have like quadrouble checked it, trying different ones, testing the alarm-sounds from within the ambience settings and so on.

Having indicator icon & alarm status working suggests that clock-ui and timed are still working more or less as expected. No sound / alarm window points towards issues with starting alarm-ui process.

Can you check if there is anything relevant looking in the journal around the time of expected alarm (-1 min ... +7 min, or so)? Also, do you have any qml patches installed?

Jun 05 12:23:56 Jolla dbus-daemon[934]: Activation via systemd failed for unit 'jolla-alarm-ui.service': Unit jolla-alarm-ui.service failed to load: Not a directory.

That's the most significant line from journalctl if you need more of the journal just ask.

You may have too much data. Remove data and run btrfs balance operation.

So, presumably, you entered pkcon install jolla-alarm-ui and the install completed successfully?

Seeing as jolla-alarm-ui is part of the jolla-clock package, you may wish to try removing jolla-clock instead; pkcon remove jolla-clock - pkcon install jolla-clock (I always choose to reboot device after such an installation, just to be sure). If you try to remove jolla-alarm-ui on its own, pkcon declares it needs to remove jolla-clock as well as alarm ui, so my thinking says remove entire package and replace package.

The jolla-clock and the jolla-calendar both depend on jolla-alarm-ui. For this reason I did: pkcon remove jolla-alarm-ui; pkcon install jolla-alarm-ui jolla-clock jolla-calendar And yes, installation completed without errors.`
