Hi, I lost all ambiences and also cannot make/save new ones. Would imagine it is about rights to a folder. The ambiance that was in use before works properly. Any ideas how to solve?
Happened after restoring from backup.

One known bug is after you copying/downloading some image phone can't proceed, and it somehow blocking ambience to work. Remember what last pictures you downloaded, or just rename pictures/downloads folder to .pictures/.downloads or so.

Maybe not the same bug: Ambiances lost after reboot if ambiance on sdcard...

The fact you cannot make new ones, suggests to me that
ambiencedis possibly corrupted.ambiencedis the back-end service for the ambience package.It is possible that by reinstalling the
ambiencedservice and then rebooting the device, should then allow you to then make ambience again.IF you are not afraid to use terminal, you can simply type in
pkcon install ambienced(install only, don't attempt removal, as it requires half the system/UI apps to be removed).It is possible you may lose the current working ambience by reinstalling the back-end service (ambienced), I don't know for sure.
Side note:- not to be Mr Picky, but it is spelt 'ambiEnce' not 'ambiAnce' - just saying ;)

More precisely, jolla-gallery-ambience-0.1.9-10.25.1.jolla.armvh7hl requires ambienced>=0.26.20, but installing is not possible. (Doesn ot say "not found" just "asentaminen ei onnistu" which in English is about "installation is not possible") The phone also suggests installing the TOH ambience now and then.
