How to Enable Mobile Data [answered]

Hello, I only got my Jolla a couple of weeks ago, so new to Sailfish etc. So I guess I should ask for 'permission to come aboard'! :) The phone and Sailfish are beautiful but I'm having one or two difficulties getting things working as I would like. First up, I can't seem to enable mobile data. I have tried various settings including those provided by my network carrier, but just can't get it to say it is enabled. My carrier is EE in UK (formerly Orange & TMobile) via the Phone Coop. If anyone can offer any help on getting this working I'd be very grateful!

so you did a longpress and edit in the mobile data settings? in my case the default access point name was wrong

I dont know if I should answer my own question but I have had some success since posting this. I entered the settings supplied by my carrier, so long press on Mobile Data and then select edit. Once I had entered the settings I exited settings and immediately restarted the phone. On restarting my mobile data was ebabled! ;)

Glad to hear you found a solution. I never had to manually enter specific carrier settings, but maybe it's sometimes necessary. Enjoy your Jolla and nice that you found your way to TJC :-)
