As there are more phones and other devices with Sailfish as native / pre-installed or officially supported OS coming out, here is a Wiki page for general overview, a shopping guide and information where to buy. May come handy for anyone new or looking for compact info.

Available devices

Devices with official Sailfish OS software package available that can be ordered and bought at least in some parts of the world. Jolla is selling the software package, the owners can purchase, download and install it on their own devices.

  • Sony Xperia X (F5121) and (since SailfishOS 2.2.0 also) Xperia X Dual-SIM (F5122).
  • Sony Xperia XA2 (all models as of December 2018: regular, "Ultra" and "Plus", each in their single- and dual-Sim variant; since SailfishOS 3.0.0)

Devices with pre-installed Sailfish OS that can be ordered and bought at least in some parts of the world.

Planned / rumored devices

Devices that so far have not materialised but are either announced or rumored to be on their way or have only been prototyped.

Press release, Apr 4, 2017: Sailfish China consortium proceeding to implementation phase. Jolla has started discussions in South Africa (from a press release, Nov 29, 2016).

Legacy devices

Devices that are discontinued but fully supported by Sailfish OS.

Feel free to edit, expand and add infos. Add a separate wiki answer for each model when it gets available and can be ordered and bought at least in some parts of the world (not when it is only rumored or planned). Specifications can be obtained using an application AIDA64 from Jolla Store.

Besides these commercially available products, there are also available so called community ports for numerous other devices - so you can install by yourself. Especially, check out the most active (or all) ports/adaptations currently.

PuzzlePhone should also come this year (2016) and they were promising SFOS support.

Have somebody ordered to EU from here? Shipping to Finland 18.9 € ("мы доставляем в любую точку России и зарубеж"), so with VAT nearly 300 €, maybe. Expected delivery (to Finland) in 20 days.

JoHe ( 2016-10-06 20:21:08 +0200 )edit

Who are the manufacturers of the JP-1601, JT-1501, Turing Phone and the Oysters? Qisda?

JAX ( 2016-10-20 15:27:40 +0200 )edit

@JAX at least for the JP I can say that last week I found Qisda as official producer. To the ones that don't know it Qisda is the Former BenQ... I think it was made (at least partially) in Taiwan

PatsJolla ( 2016-11-29 22:43:34 +0200 )edit

I guess SUPPORT HAS STOPPED for Jolla C. My experience is that 2.2.1.18 is the second version with permanent WLAN hiccups and unfixed dual SIM audio switching/forwarding to bluetooth. Additionally I heard rumours about stopped patching because it's just a limited developer edition.

What is the price and availability in Intex Smart World stores?

Problems with import to Germany!!!!

Raymaen ( 2016-09-19 18:36:58 +0200 )edit

Still available also internationally from ebay.com, although the price has risen almost a third.

Yeah, yesterday it was still available for $98 at lowpriceshoppee, but it's now sold out. It's now at $120+ everywhere. If the 20000 units got sold out so easily I wonder why Intex won't continue with Sailfish. Too much user support to do?

Sthocs ( 2016-12-06 19:18:57 +0200 )edit

@Sthocs lowpriceshoppe seems to have a few more devices, at least his listing is back. On snapdeal and on flipcart the Aqua Fish were already sold out and are now back in stock. Still: I fear that very soon only extremely overpriced devices ( e.g ebay.ch for 210$ + shipping or from e.g overseas electronics who raised the price by 50$ a few days ago, now asking 175$+shipping) I am happy that I ordered mine already some time ago.

AFAICS, the Aigo x86 tablet is an Android device, which is based on the same circuit design as the Jolla tablet, but comes with only 16 GB eMMC (internal FLASH memory).
It can be reflashed to SailfishOS per a hacked, unlicensed Firmware image taken from the Jolla tablet.

Thus it does not belong in above list, IMO.

Basically the same hardware as Jolla C, Intex Aquafish and INOI R7.

Does it come with an AlienDalvik license?

olf ( 2018-07-13 20:45:50 +0200 )edit

I have tried to get a straight answer from Jala if I can buy a phone with Sailfish OS from them later this month when I visit La Paz. No luck yet.

The phone is advertised as having SfOS but availability is very unclear.
