it was told to be done in July - we have two days left but no any info... :D

Jolla, please, please, pretty please, start it on 1st of July - than I have some chance to get it in my hand before my summer vacation starts.

I really hope no-work-in-july-in-finland does not ruint it at all... ;)

My guess is that the phones will be shipped from India.

The announcement states that "all program members will get the new Jolla C device during july".

...and yes, I'm waiting too.

Jolla's official mail received today:

Jolla C shipping update

We are very well on track with the shipping of all the Jolla C smartphones. The actual devices are in Hong Kong waiting to be dispatched. We are currently going through some final database checks, and agreeing on items with our logistics provider, and then the Jolla C's are on their way to you.

Note these when receiving your Jolla C

The product shipped with the purchase of Sailfish Community Device Program, the Jolla C, is a developer-focused device that comes with a protective plastic cover on the screen and a short Micro USB cable for the developers to hook their device up to the computer.

Important note: The protective cover over the display is meant to be kept on to protect the display, so please do not take it off when you receive the device.

Thank you once again for joining us, supporting us and helping us develop our operating system on a bigger scale than before!

Anyone owning a Jolla C has any info on the protective cover? How does it look? Is it just the normal "sticker" put on all new phones or something more special?

How about not hijacking threads? But yes it is a normal screenprotector, nothing special but it is nicely precut to just fit the screen.

The protective cover looks like... oh I didn't realize there was a protective cover on my device, until I read about it in the mail today! :D

All the Jolla C phones are now being shippedas James has stated today. Get the tracing code from shop.jolla.com or email notification.
