Hi
I'm interested in having Burmese language added. I was initially involved in providing the Burmese translations when Nokia was adding the Burmese language pack to Series 30 range of devices, but the project was canned after Microsoft bought the company. I still have the translation files that myself, my wife and a few of us worked on, which I suspect, would still be valid for a lot of the cases for the SFOS.
If this is approved, I'd be happy to be the coordinator for the Burmese translation service.
A recent post from Bangkok Post shows Myanmar is '...fourth fastest-growing mobile market on earth. (http://www.bangkokpost.com/news/asean/1015225/myanmars-mobile-revolution), and I would guess that around 80-90% of them are Android devices.
If we can provide a device with native support for Burmese language then I'm quite sure a lot of users would switch to Jolla devices.
@leonardoa hi, and welcome to TJC. please add your language suggestion here as an answer. state that you want to be coordinator and sledges should do the rest...
