Can we have an official, Jolla-managed waiting list for Jolla C?
IMHO both our lives and Jolla staff job would be easier if anyone interested in the next Jolla C batch could put his/her name on a waiting list. Then when the next batch becomes available (or about to become available), all those guys on the list would get a notification in email, with a URL to click to buy the device (or put down a deposit). I hope this isn't a duplicate request :)
The first step might be to acknowledge that there actually will be more batches.
(I'm waiting for a Jolla C and my fiancee keeps joking about that. She never got her tablet...)

And as soon as a global phone maker starts to sell SFOS devices, this whole "hunting down a brand new phone with SFOS" issue will be gone anyway. Until then, it would be important though to at least cater for developers. If I want to have a brand new device running SFOS today, to let me develop and validate apps on a real device, my options are still very limited -- and that doesn't help the evolvement of the app ecosystem.
Fiery ( 2016-07-02 00:02:02 +0300 )editwhy would you even want Jolla C? It is a developer device, the glass even not that good. It seems that many people, who bought it, just wanted new flashy device and won't be developing anything at all o_O you can hust wait few more months and by better device like Intex or FP2 or oysters
virgi26 ( 2016-07-02 00:03:47 +0300 )editI need a Jolla C to have a backup phone running SFOS, in case my primary device (Jolla Phone) dies or becomes unusable for some reason. Intex or FP2 could work too, but AFAIK none of those are available for purchase right now -- while the Jolla C was, 2 times already, in limited quantities.

I'm also hoping to buy a PuzzlePhone running Sailfish OS, btw.
