[SOLVED] Phone stuck in "headphones" mode even after reset [answered]
A couple weeks ago, i was listening to music and a call came in, i unplugged my headphones immediately to take the call but it hung up.. after that, i lost all earpiece functionality.
- When calls come in, i can answer, but the earpiece is silent
- if i plug in headphones, i can hear the call through the headphones
- speakerphone works
NOTE: This has happened once before and it fixed itself.. this time i've completely reset the phone and it's still not working. This is not a hardware issue as far as i can tell. it has happened before and always the same way (unplugging headphones when a call comes in while music is playing)...
- I tried alsamixer.
- i tried maxvol, etc. ..
Nothing is fixing the earpiece volume.
Neah. I think, that in this time the audio jack has a problem (debris, pins has worn off or stuck) and without manual cleaning or replacing that jack, IDK other variants, if even full reset didn't solve the situation.

in to terminal or navigate toSettings/About Product
and tap 5-7 times on the text next to where it saysBuild
- then run some tests from the audio sectionI have the same problem that could very well be caused by the same use case
