As the title says, the phone keeps crashing after a phone call :( I'm running the newest version at the moment (2.0.3.11 Espoonjoki)

It's most likely a bug in Rockpool. If you have it installed, try disabling rockpoold service.

Yes, try! That was the problem i had. It took hours for me to realize and i describe in the thread HtheB linked to.

Indeed, this solved my problem! I thought the beta version had this problem, and not the main version, since I've been using the main version on my J1 perfectly fine.

Thanks for the solution! I'll wait for a fix before using RockPool again on JC :)

Great HtheB! The most funny thing, it struck us both during testing Esponjoki. LOL. I seriously had the impression there is a major bug in that Version and was about to file the same question some days ago. Good that its here now so others can help themself.

People who've narrowed it down to Rockpool: which versions cause this behaviour? A log I saw seemed to indicate it was running the beta, but it would be good to know if the latest version does this, and also if this occurs with the mainline version.

I've commented just 2 mintes before you did. I was using the mainline version. Never used the beta versions

Thanks for all your hard work Andy!! I run 11-1 and did not realize it had the bug ;) Ruff wrote something about it being ironed out in a TMO Post. And i did DL the latest from openrepos site after his post. What is the recommended version to use? Will try and report!

The daemon's crashed on hangup since the beginning, but as it just silently restarted with little impact, it wasn't serious. Ruff fixed it, and we'd assumed that the new not-crashing caused these problems. If it's happening in the mainline though, then that means there's a new incompatibility between rockpool and the Jolla C or 2.0.2 in general. We'd better get looking into it...

Just ask here or in tmo thread if you need guinea pigs to generate logs :D

mosen ( 2016-07-26 23:54:42 +0300 )edit

Yes please. I haven't managed to replicate it here yet, so any logs would be welcome, along with more details of the situation i.e. which side terminated the call, and if you did it, then did you do it with the watch or the phone's 'end call' button.
