Problem, I deleted a Warehouse app and it deleted Android support and the call application. [answered]

Hi,

I downloaded and installed TOR from the Openrepos.net site with the Warehouse app. After 10 minutes I deleted the app.

But with the remove of TOR it also removed Alien Dalvik(android support) and the call application. I was able to re-install Android support through the Jolla store.

But the call application can't be re-installed. I installed TOR again but no result. A reboot didn't help either. The People app is still there, but I can't call someone, pressing on a phonenumber doesn't start anything.

When people are calling me the phone rings, but there is no answer button. The call application also isn't visible on the screen. The notification screen shows the missed calls but I can't do anything with it. I'm on the latest firmware.

How can I re-install the call application?

I was on 0.2-1, I now update tot 0.2-4.

Thanks to having a terminal available you can fix most things and I'm glad it worked but it really shouldn't happen in the first place. We were just discussing this issue on TMO and we thought that it would work as expected and not remove explicitly installed packages though. http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=91574

BTW, what is TOR? I can't find it on ORN.

I think this is a Warehouse issue. I haven't even installed Tor, and I can confirm it by checking manually that it isn't installed, and Warehouse reports it as installed.
Because it thinks it's installed, I have the option to uninstall it... and who knows what Warehouse will uninstall. The reported version of the presumably installed package is definitely wrong, which makes me believe Warehouse makes some weird association between packages from openrepos and locally installed package.

Warehouse it self calls pkcon to install and remove application. Seems like package "Tor" at openrepos have same name as one of the system packages. So remove caused remove of system package.
