I just bought Intex Aqua fish and I can't find any way to share mp3 files. I downloaded the file explorer but it doesn't have any such feature. I downloaded shareit from the android store but it doesn't work. Any idea how to share a lot of files, especially mp3?

What about using Syncthing-sf from openrepos https://openrepos.net/content/fooxl/syncthing-sf? This is a p2p solution working on nearly all operating systems (not windows mobile). https://syncthing.net

Sailfish OS supports the integrated file transfer for single files since version 2.0.4.14 (Fiskarsinjoki) on the following way:

  1. Go to Settings > Storage > 'select your storage' > from pulley menu: File manager
  2. Now long press on your selected file and use the share option to share it e.g. via Bluetooth

But it still does not support multiple file transfer as requested.

There is no integrated option (yet), but you can use an app from the native 3rd party app store which at least is able to share single mp3 files via bluetooth yet: https://openrepos.net/content/cepiperez/filecase-0

You are also able t use this repository via the native app: https://openrepos.net/content/basil/warehouse-sailfishos

Using file manager, move the mp3 files in android_storage/ folder. Now shareit can access the files. Send them using shareit.

@Mystel Have you tried it? I haven't been able to send or receive files with shareit. It cannot access wifi nor can it create a hotspot. If the hotspot is already on it tries to restart it but fails every time.

It worked when both mobiles were connected on a same wifi network...
