Does anyone know if any website has any other colour for the back cover? The red one is very beautiful, but the black would be perfect for everyone who likes the "stealth" look. Maybe we can ask directly Jolla if there will be other colours.

Or a 3d file so you can print one yourself (as is possible with the jolla one).....

The black back cover of an Intex Aqua Fish should fit.

My wish is a back cover in YInMn blue.

@vattuvarg And where is the black Aqua Fish back cover available? I can only find orange Aqua Fish and no back covers sold separately.

@Valker - I stand corrected. It was supposed to be available in orange and black but Intex only has orange listed on their site.

Seems like dyeing (as in using chemicals to change colour) is the only option.

We (Jolla) don't have plans to sell/give/make different back covers for Jolla C. Those white and black you have seen are prototypes and not for sale.

i have to aggree, roughen it up, use some alcohol for surface prep, then use a flexible black paint from a spraycan, paint compatible with plastic (check on what plastic it is).

Also i wonder if the Intex Phone doesnt have different back covers and it seems identicalbin dimensions but you would want to confirm that.

At least a white cover is in the wild... https://twitter.com/cybette/status/719087190903549952

Also, I remember seeing an image of what back then seemed an Aqua Fish with a big Jolla logo (now known as the Jolla C) on Twitter. The back cover of the phone was black. Unfortunately I haven't managed to retrieve the photo :(

Of course, that doesn't mean that we will be able to obtain them, even if it would be nice.

I don't see how the white one is Jolla C - the image is from 2013, Jolla C didn't exist then.

@Markkyboy The photo is from April 2016. The 2013 photo is this one: https://twitter.com/cybette/status/408266545849044992

Hmmm, confusing titles, but I see the dates now, I stand completely corrected! :)

I tweeted Cybette, she thinks that the white backed phone, is an Intex AquaFish prototype, so I have asked if she knows anything of availability of other colour covers.

Look into water tyransfer/ hydro dipping as an alternative, lots of places doing it now on all sorts of things from car parts to fishing reels.
