Since Jolla C and intex aqua fish are essentially the same device, can we get flashable image of pure saifish OS without any partner space or other bloatware that can be flashed on to our intex aqua fish so that we can recieve updates the same time it get released on to Jolla C? This will help a larger audience to test the software and report the bugs. I think it will be almost like a wider community device program outreach.

Removed the how-to tag. A how-to is a document about how to do something. This is a pure question.

Sailfish, you know you are becoming popular if people are already thinking of pirating you! ;)

It is indeed strange - but inspiring - that less finally is more nowadays.

I don't really see what is meant with "get the update the same time as Jolla C users" because with Aurajoki, I got the update for Jolla 1, Jolla C and Intex Aqua Fish at the very same time!

Intex is not 100% Jolla C, it have different hw parts, so one can't just take Jolla C image and write to Intex.

Great idea, would like to see the pure Jolla C Sailfish OS on my Intex Aqua Fish as well!

The Intex Android layer has Google services pre-installed, without any option to get rid of them. To me, who quit Google products long time ago to keep my data private, this "feature" is nothing more than pure bullsh*t.

Putting a Jolla C image on an Aqua fish would be quite easy via Telnet, I guess...

Please use ssh. Telnet should no be used anymore, except for maybe debugging network services. (A bit off-topic, I know)

Rsync? Netcat? Sftp? Fastboot?

Can someone with a Jolla C grab a clean firmware image and send it to me please?

There are no flashable images of any Jolla Firmware for any Jolla device publicly available. Same applies for Aquafish and Turing AFAIK

why dont you follow the instructions in: how to make a aquafish think it is a jolla c?
