How much can licensees modify SF OS?
Reading about activation SM sent by Intex Aqua Fish devices (https://together.jolla.com/question/139190) I wonder what else licensees can add to SF OS devices, or how much they could modify the OS itself. Jolla stands for credibility and data protection. What are the limits for licensees? Are there any conditions licensees must adhere to? I think most of us want to get away from devices collecting data for someone, spamming us or forcing us to use proprietary services. Jolla should apply licensing rules to prevent such things. There is already a request to install a 'pure' SF OS instead if Intex' flavour (https://together.jolla.com/question/140070). How can it be ensured that a device carrying the SF OS logo is trustworthy according to Jolla's promises and is effectively not just another Google device?
