Where i am, i get a really good signal in 4g, and a really bad in 3g. I set my jolla in "Prefear 4G" but it still stays on 3G. Sometimes for 2 minutes, sometimes 15, or hours ..

It's really boring, jolla should add only 2g / only 3g / only 4g or at least fix it. If coderus can do it (thanks a lot for that), i hope jolla too.

(Older, 2.0.2.48 & 2.0.4.14 & Still present in 2.0.5.6) Sosh - France ( Frequency seems to be 800 and 2600Mhz ) (Jolla 1 - on two devices)

NB : IMHO it can't be an hardware issue, with the coderus patch, it's just working PERFECTLY, no special delay to find 4G, and never had any problem. I'm almost sure it's a software issue.

@malibu1106 your "answer" showed that this problem really bothers you, but please understand that your problem might be limited to a small number of people (see the number of votes and comments). i never had the problem you described...

Answer removed. There's a larger amount of votes on a (very old)feature request about controlling each mode individually. It's really boring because with coderus patch (2.0.2 only atm, another thanks to coderus for this work btw ) i NEVER had any trouble to find 4G, maybe it's due to my location ? Doesn't know, but i had found the same trouble on another Jolla phone. Sorry about my frustation .. But i choosed an expensive operator, to have a good 4G, and i can't use it normally.

@malibu1106 well, i cant help you but why dont you try and give as much info as you can think of? whats your operator? which lte band? since which version did you notice the problem? which device are you using?

maybe someone who knows would stumble upon this and has an idea...

See a quite old report I did a while ago, when I noticed it: https://together.jolla.com/question/90849/how-to-set-jolla-for-more-aggressive-frequent-4g-lte-network-search/
