This bug seems to be back: https://together.jolla.com/question/90275/bug-calendar-duplicates-on-every-sync/ On my phone right now I have 4 the same calendars after I added 3 new appointments during the day. Each sync, when there is something new, creates a new calendar. I sync with owncloud version 8.2.7

I had the same problem on my jolla 1, but the duplicates disappeared after a reboot.

Same problem here, but the duplicates don't disappear on reboot! I'm using ownCloud 9.1.0

The duplicates reappeared on my device, after they were gone after a reboot. I'm using the caldav server from mailbox.org, which is using Open-Xchange.

The only thing that works for me is to delete the caldav/carddav account and recreate it. I now do this around once a week, depending on how annoying it gets to disable the double calendars. But it would better if Jolla would look into this and fix it.

I have this problem on my Jolla 1, running 2.0.2.51 Aurajoki, syncing with fruux. At least I know now what the trigger may be: a new event, made on the phone. A reboot does not help. Jolla should fix this indeed.

At least the trigger is NOT a new event, made on the phone. Although I was tempted now and then to add a new event, I didn't. But suddenly the fruux calendars had tripled. I had to delete my fruux account again and reinstall it.

I still have it sometimes. I can't see a pattern in what is happening. I have made new entries on the phone, in owncloud and on my desktop, but I have not had a duplication for a while. Still no clue on what triggers it...

I have this on my Intex Aqua Fish with Sailfish 2.0.2.51. Currently I have 3 instances of the same calendar. To prevent from triple notifications I have disabled 2 instances. To do so, start calendar, swipe down to open de pulley menu and select manage calendars. There you can disable all but one instance. This is a workaround but of course the cause of this issue should be fixed asap.

I use the following post to resolve my problem: https://together.jolla.com/question/59173/delete-all-entries-from-a-calendar/ In combination of Notepad++ column edit mode and search&replace it is quiet eays to delete the entries and the calendars in two steps (3 calendars, each 63 times).

I do remove the whole calendar db from time to time when it is out of hand. But the main issue still is: why do the calendars duplicate from time to time? There is no real pattern to as far as I can see. It is annoying.

I already posted this in another thread here on the same topic, after more than six months without any sign of jolla to fix this really annoying bug, I am soon ready to leave for lineage on a xiaomi. It's really sad about all the good work done so far. But it seems, jolla won't become what it was looking it will be.

With the latest version 2.0.2.51 this issue is fixed (again)

EDIT: At first it looked like it was fixed, but now the problem has become worse. My calenders duplicate like crazy (right now it shows 30 of them in Manage Calenders). So I reopened it. Will try to investigate it more to see if I can find out what is wrong.

I have that issue since 2.1.0 and still have it with 2.1.1 now. Is there any solution for it?
