I have enabled gps in settings. And Here Maps, installed by the jolla store, correctly uses it. But i noticed that Google Maps app (neither the one opened by the jolla internet browser) recognises it. Same happens with whatever apps i install from the Play Store. Following the instructions from a previous post regarding gps problems with Pokemon Go app, i tried to go in "Location", into google play services, but it says "unsupported action".

Does anyone know how am i supposed to get gps signals on all applications?

Sorry to retag, but the how-to tag is only used for documents about how to do something specific with a Sailfish OS device. How-to documents have step-by-step instructions on how to reach a specified goal. The above is simply a question.

I think the how to on Google Play for Jolla C included some files around the location services that don't come along with the basic Pico GApps package. Someone on TJC repackaged the necessary files and wrote a small howto txt file: @Pornis did it here:

My Jolla C is struggling with GPS, it does receive a signal but, after the initial position get, it will start to irradically jump from 1 place to another 2km away 100m away.. It performs poorly.

Also for some reason Jolla C doesn't calculate speed properly, on Jolla 1 everything worked perfectly but on Jolla C it updates speed only on 7km/h jumps...

Please go to the settings menu and open the location and enable the faster position fix and then the gps would start working for all applications

Thank you, it worked. But first i had to remove and install Android Support again. Btw, now gps works on all android apps, but still I can't get into "locations" by Google Settings. Is it normal?
