I just got the details for the first webinar associated to the "community program" that came with the Jolla C. It is on Youtube, and unfortunately it seems like a Google account is needed to participate fully:

You can view the session without logging in - for commenting and asking questions in the chat you need to login with your Google account.

One of the reasons why I went with Jolla is that I dislike having to use a Google account for everything. Am I alone? If there is support from other participants, we can ask Jolla to migrate the webinars to another platform.

I wanted to participate but couldn't find the spare time. If indeed a Google account is needed to use the real benefit of the community program with regard to the webinars (the possibility to use the chat to comment and ask questions) it seems I don't miss too much as the recordings will be released later on to the public.
