The USB mode for mass storage have a lot of problems! windows XP does not install the driver; on Win 7 i have no problem... but the N9 USB storage mode is the best! jolla are too confusing method; very strange!
then the problem is: the system does not recognize jolla like a USB mass storage and i have trouble to install driver

home partition in internal emmc of your Jolla Device is btrfs which cannot be mounted by your Windows machine
sdcard can be formated using FAT but FAT does not support beeing mounted by two hosts at once. Data corruption may occur if beeing accessed by your Jolla and your Windows device at the same time.

Specify which OS you are talking about, specify how long is the file or files that you want to copy and how long does it take? Maybe some screenshots somewhere? Your question reads like complaining right now.
