An update for the maps-app to 1.1.22 was released, as always without release-notes. I know, sometimes release-notes could be embarassing (stupid mistakes and so on) but even than, just write "small fixes" or "crash fixed under special circumstances".

Maybe we see an update on a strange day in future, with a note like "add hidden offline navigation feature" ;-)

Thank you

Got it too, didn't really expect a changelog, but what's weird is that the update date is 21/06/2016. Was it hidden from us until now?

You are right, even on one more reason to add a changelog.

I gathered that for some technical reason, Maps needs to be updated via the store instead of the system update. Given that the 2.0.2.x has been "mostly" eady for quite some time already, it makes sense that it was not made available until 2.0.2 was released to everyone. I am also curious about the changes though.

to view the changelog, use this:

rpm -q --changelog sailfish-maps

Small amount of small fixes would be quite accurate description of the changes in maps app.
