Microsoft exchange features bugs

Hello,
I am not sure whether is a feature or a bug with the exchange:
Off peak interval times tend to change automagicly from the specified times, e.g. 07:30-17:30 keeps changing to 05:30-15:30 next time I open the account.
Events in calendar that are canceled or modified keep appearing as normal events including their reminder notifications, i.e. 15min, 10min, 5min notifications for event: Canceled: Project meeting, etc.
I am not familiar with MS Exchange, but I think most behaviours seem wrong to me.
