Hi, I can't update to Aurajoki because nothing happens. The issue shouldn't be memory because i have more space on my phone than the update instructions demand. It's not about the optimization either because I can't get that far.

If I try to start the upgrade either from the notifications or from settings - nothing happens. In best cases the phone tries to open settings but just quits after a couple of seconds - no optimization or download just nothing. Jolla store is working nicely.

Im using old Jolla phone and tried to reboot several times an followed the instructions about open-repos.

What could I do?

Make sure developer mode is enabled, then open the terminal and enter the following commands:

devel-su

(You'll have to enter the password you set for developer mode here.)

btrfs-balancer allocation

If this shows more than 80%, enter the following command and wait for it to finish (it can take a long time), otherwise skip ahead to 'ssu re'

btrfs-balancer balance

This should fix btrfs problems. Now enter:

ssu re 2.0.2.51
version --dup

This should work. Once everything has finished, reboot.

Thank You for the answer. Everything seemed to go well until the last step. I haven't used the developers mode before and not at all familiar with that. Now it seems that after I enabled the developers mode I have lost all internet connection. Therefore I get an error with the connection to store on the last step.

Any hints for that?

Now I got it started without wifi.
